The Crown Pinions are mainly made up from the Cast Steel IS-2708 Gr-III-B.

There are three or six Crown Pinions which are used in a Three Roller Mill. It is fitted with the Key on The Mill Roller Shaft. It is useful for the Power transmission i.e. Top Roller Crown Pinion to feed & discharge Roller Crown Pinion. the Crown Pinions are meshed with each other.
